Commercial Manager - M&E (Mechanical & Electrical)\n\nLondon (Projects Across Greater London)\n£90,000 + Excellent Benefits\n\nA leading building services and engineering contractor is seeking an experienced M&E Commercial Manager to oversee the commercial delivery of major mechanical and electrical projects across London.\n\nThis is a senior role within a well-established business delivering high-value schemes across sectors including commercial offices, residential developments, healthcare, data centres, and mixed-use projects. You'll play a key role in protecting commercial performance while supporting project teams to deliver first-class engineering solutions.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Commercial Manager, you will take full commercial responsibility for multiple M&E packages and projects, managing costs, contracts, and commercial risk from pre-construction through to final account.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLeading the commercial management of mechanical and electrical packages\n\nOverseeing procurement of subcontractors and suppliers\n\nContract administration under NEC, JCT, or bespoke forms of contract\n\nManaging project budgets, cost reporting, and forecasting\n\nIdentifying, managing, and mitigating commercial risks\n\nValuations, variations, change control, and final accounts\n\nLeading and mentoring Quantity Surveyors and commercial staff\n\nWorking closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure commercial success\n\nSupporting bid and pre-construction teams with commercial input where required\n\nAbout You\n\nYou'll be a commercially astute professional with a strong background in building services or M&E contracting.\n\nEssential:\n\nProven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor within M&E or building services\n\nStrong knowledge of mechanical and electrical installations and project lifecycles\n\nExperience managing high-value M&E packages on major construction projects\n\nExcellent understanding of NEC and/or JCT contracts\n\nStrong negotiation, financial management, and reporting skills\n\nExperience leading or mentoring junior commercial team members\n\nDesirable:\n\nDegree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or similar\n\nExperience on large-scale London-based projects\n\nProfessional membership (RICS, CICES, or similar)\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\n£90,000 salary\n\nCar allowance or travel allowance\n\nAnnual performance bonus\n\nPrivate healthcare\n\nPension scheme\n\nIf you're an experienced M&E commercial professional ready to step into a leadership role on major London projects, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected and growing contractor.\n\nIf interested in further details please contact John Baker or Katherine Oxlade\n\n--- Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of , , , belief, , sexuality or .
