I am currently headhunting for a Mechanical Construction Manager to join one of the UK’s leading Tier 1 M&E Contractors. This role is based in Central London, working on high-profile schemes that are shaping the city’s skyline.

The Opportunity You won't be stuck in one niche. This contractor holds a massive footprint across multiple sectors including:

• Commercial & Mixed-Use: High-rise shell and core.
• Data Centres: High-spec, fast-track critical infrastructure.
• Healthcare & Education: Technically demanding, specialist mechanical services.
• Project Scale: Leading packages with values up to £80M+.

The Role As a Construction Manager, you are the heartbeat of the site. You will be responsible for:

• Driving the Program: Ensuring mechanical installations are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality.
• Sub-Contractor Management: Leading on-site teams and specialist trades to hit key milestones.
• Technical Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving site-based clashes and design issues in real-time.
• Health & Safety: Maintaining an uncompromising standard of safety across the floor.
• Liaison: Working closely with the Project Manager and Main Contractor to ensure seamless integration.

What we are looking for:

• A proven track record as a Mechanical CM or Site Manager for an M&E sub-contractor.
• Experience on projects valued at £10M+.
• Relevant tickets (SMSTS, CSCS Black/Gold Card).
• A "hands-on" leader who can motivate trades and manage high-pressure environments.
