Job DescriptionMechanical Construction Manager – Data Centre – Heathrow We are currently partnering with a multidisciplinary consultancy with a global record of successful delivery on a range of projects including, but not limited to, Data Centres, Recladding, Medical Projects, Nursing homes, Clinics and many more. Due to continuous growth, they are now seeking a well experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to lead the electrical package on a Data Centre construction project in Heathrow. Responsibilities * Mechanical Package Delivery Lead the delivery of mechanical systems including cooling, chilled water, ventilation and associated plant, ensuring works are completed in line with programme, capacity and performance targets. * Systems Coordination Coordinate closely with electrical, BMS and controls teams to ensure all mechanical systems are fully integrated and operate as part of a cohesive critical environment. * Subcontractor Management Oversee mechanical subcontractors and specialist installers, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality and technical standards. * Testing & Commissioning Lead mechanical testing and commissioning activities including pressure testing and flushing, ensuring systems meet operational performance, efficiency and resilience requirements. * Phased Delivery & Live Environment Integration Support phased installation and commissioning strategies, ensuring systems can be brought online in a controlled manner without impacting live or future operations. Requirements * Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background * Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects including Data Centres * Must be based within a commutable distance of Heathrow Benefits £550 - £600 per day DOE
