We are currently looking for a Mechanical Estimator to join a leading main contractor delivering large-scale data centre and industrial projects across the UK.\n\nThis is a great opportunity to be part of a growing team working on technically complex, high-value schemes within a fast-paced and evolving sector.\n\nThe Role:\nAs a Mechanical Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction team, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical packages across a range of major projects.\n\nThis role will be based from the Head Office which is around 20 minutes drive from Heathrow. You will need to be based within a reasonable commute of the office as well as being flexible to travel for client needs.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Prepare detailed mechanical cost estimates from first principles through to tender stage\n\n * Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation\n\n * Engage with supply chain partners to obtain and evaluate quotations\n\n * Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options\n\n * Collaborate with design, commercial, and project teams during bid submissions\n\n * Support the development of tender strategies and cost plans\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within construction or MEP contracting\n\n * Strong understanding of mechanical systems, ideally within large-scale or complex projects (data centres experience beneficial)\n\n * Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications\n\n * Commercial awareness and strong analytical skills\n\n * Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\n * £60,000 - £85,000 Basic depending on experience\n\n * ~10% Car Allowance\n\n * Competitive Bonus Structure\n\n * Business related costs covered i.e flights and accommodation\n\n * Medical & Pension\n\n * Career progression within a dynamic and expanding business
