Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical Fitter Required – Weybridge, Surrey

We are currently recruiting experienced Mechanical Fitters for a long-term mechanical installation package on a major data centre project in Weybridge, Surrey.

Location: Weybridge, Surrey
Rate: £28.00–£29.00 per hour
Duration: Long-term work
Hours: Full-time

Duties:

* Installation and assembly of mechanical plant and equipment within a data centre environment.

* Installation of pumps, valves, AHUs, FCUs, pipework supports, brackets, and associated mechanical services.

* Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications.

* Carrying out mechanical fit-out works to a high standard.

* Assisting with testing, commissioning, and system handovers where required.

* Maintaining strict adherence to site health and safety requirements.

Requirements:

* Valid CSCS Skilled Worker Card (Blue or Gold ).

* Relevant NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering Services, Engineering Maintenance, Mechanical Fitting, or equivalent.

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter on commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, or data centre projects.

* Ability to read and work from technical and mechanical drawings.

* Own tools and full PPE.

* IPAF 3a/3b certification.

* PASMA certification.

* Previous experience working on data centre projects.

* Knowledge of mechanical plant installation and commissioning processes.

* SSSTS qualification for candidates with supervisory experience.
