Mechanical Manager

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a number of Mechanical roles within Data Centre construction in Frankfurt, Germany. These include:

• Package Manager

• Project Director

\n

• Construction Manager

\n

• Quantity Surveyor

\n

\n

\n

Data Centre experience, alongside the right to work in Germany is a requirement

Mechanical Package Manager

\n

Roles and Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Planning of all resources including labour, materials and sub-contractors.

\n

• Management of specific packages within the overall project.

\n

• To manage and drive a large team to meet with all project requirements and deadline.

\n

• Ensure the adherence to company safety and quality standards.

\n

• Ensure project profitability.

\n

• Responsible for all aspects of personnel under their charge.

\n

• Project Scheduling/ Planning.

\n

• Reporting on Project Progress to the Management Team

\n

• Reading and Interpreting P&ID’s / GA Drawings / Specifications.

\n

• Proven record of coordinating and managing large projects.

\n

• Ensure successful Commissioning / Handover of projects in accordance with Company procedures.

\n

\n

Requirements

\n

\n
• Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment.

\n

• Ability to drive a large scale project.

\n

• You will have 5+ years recent and similar experience with a large M&E contractor on large commercial projects.

\n

• 3rd Level Engineering Qualification or Trade background with relevant experience.

\n

• Strong Communication and People management skills required with experience in leading a team, work delegation and delivering in accordance with the project program.

\n

• Be able to carry out Material Take Offs for in site requisitions

\n

• Good Computer skills - Windows, MS Office

\n
