The Client and Project Info:\nMy client is a leading M&E Contractor who are currently recruiting a Mechanical Manager for a major Data Centre project based in Scotland. This is a long-term opportunity working on a high-value, fast-paced technical build.\n\nMechanical Manager Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Reporting to and working closely with the Project Director.\n\n * \n\n Overseeing all mechanical packages on the Data Centre project.\n\n * \n\n Managing subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered on time and to specification.\n\n * \n\n Coordinating with design teams, consultants, and other site management.\n\n * \n\n Ensuring all mechanical works are compliant with industry standards and project requirements.\n\n * \n\n Leading progress meetings, producing reports, and tracking programme milestones.\n\n * \n\n Ensuring strict adherence to health & safety procedures at all times.\n\n * \n\n Supporting commissioning activities and ensuring successful handover.\n\nMechanical Manager Requirements:\n\n * \n\n Previous experience working as a Mechanical Manager on large-scale MEP projects.\n\n * \n\n Data Centre experience is highly desirable.\n\n * \n\n Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, pipework, plant, and associated mechanical systems.\n\n * \n\n Ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and drive project delivery.\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.\n\n * \n\n Valid CSCS card and relevant mechanical qualifications.\n\nThe Next Steps:\nTo apply for the Mechanical Supervisor role, click the apply now button below and submit your CV.
