Mechanical Package Lead | Zurich, Switzerland\nSalter Grange is recruiting on behalf of a leading European engineering and construction contractor delivering major data centre and mission-critical projects.\nWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Package Lead to drive the successful delivery of mechanical works on a flagship project in Zurich.\nMechanical Package Lead Requirements:\n * Trade background with a relevant third-level qualification.\n * Minimum 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Package Lead on large-scale construction projects.\n * Proven track record coordinating multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.\n * Strong knowledge of project delivery, commercial awareness and programme management.\n * Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and MS Project.\n * Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.\nMechanical Package Lead Responsibilities:\n * Lead mechanical package delivery, ensuring safety, quality and programme targets are achieved.\n * Manage day-to-day site operations, subcontractors and labour resources.\n * Monitor project costs, variations, materials and plant requirements.\n * Coordinate progress reporting, commercial reviews and change management activities.\n * Oversee QA documentation, snagging, O&M manuals and project close-out deliverables.\n * Attend client, engineering and coordination meetings, proactively managing risks and delays.\n * Drive a culture of safety, accountability and high performance across the project team.\nEligibility: Candidates must already have the right to work in Switzerland without sponsorship.
