Mechanical Project Manager - Critical Facilities - City of London/Slough\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to support the delivery of complex construction and engineering projects, primarily within data centres and critical facilities. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.\n\nOur clients business is growing year on year in the building and construction industry, driven by repeat clients and a strong pipeline of work across critical environments and complex mechanical projects. This growth is creating genuine opportunities for people to progress in building and construction industry.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupport the Project Manager in the delivery of mechanical construction projects from pre-start through to completion\nCoordinate site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners\nEnsure compliance with HSQE, CDM, and environmental legislation\nMaintain site standards, quality assurance processes, and project documentation\nManage programmes, RAMS, method statements, and site records\nChair and contribute to subcontractor meetings\nOversee testing, commissioning documentation, and handover records\nIdentify cost-saving and value engineering opportunities\nTrack costs and support pricing of variations and small works\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholdersWe want someone with\n\nProven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer\nStrong background in mechanical infrastructure, ideally within data centres or critical environments\nMechanical qualifications (essential)\nSMSTS, CSCS Managers Card, First Aid Certifications\nExperience working with customer-facing contractors\nStrong knowledge of planning software, SharePoint, and MS Office\nExcellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills\nConfident running productive site and subcontractor meetingsBenefits\n\nEligibility to join the Employee-Owned Trust (EOT) after 12 months\nPrivate Healthcare & Private Dental Insurance\nLife Insurance\nPension Scheme\nLength of Service reward scheme \n\nPosition: Permanent\n\nLocation: Site-Based (City of London or Slough - depending on candidate's location)\n\nHours: 07:00-16:00 (plus OOH)
