Job Title: Mechanical Site Supervisor – Data Centre Construction

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Salary: €80,000 – €100,000 + Excellent Package (Bonus, Allowances, Benefits)

Company Overview:

Our client is a leading mission-critical general contractor, delivering large-scale data centre projects across Europe for blue-chip technology clients. With a strong pipeline of complex builds, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor to join their Frankfurt project team.

Role Overview:

The Mechanical Site Supervisor will oversee all mechanical installation activities on a hyperscale data centre project, ensuring quality, safety, and programme objectives are achieved. This role requires a strong technical background in mechanical systems and proven experience delivering complex, fast-track projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the mechanical installation works on site, ensuring alignment with project design, schedule, and quality standards
  • Manage and monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with safety and technical requirements
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and method statements to identify issues or improvements
  • Liaise closely with the project management, engineering, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Ensure all mechanical systems (HVAC, chilled water, pipework, fire suppression, etc.) are installed and tested to specification
  • Participate in progress meetings, reporting on mechanical installation status and any potential delays or risks
  • Maintain detailed site records, inspections, and handover documentation
  • Promote and enforce the company’s health and safety policies on site

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Mechanical Site Supervisor or similar role within the construction or MEP industry
  • Experience in data centre, pharmaceutical, or other mission-critical environments is essential
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, installations, and commissioning processes
  • Recognised mechanical or building services qualification (degree, diploma, or trade certification)
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to lead subcontractor teams effectively
  • Fluent in English; German skills advantageous
  • Eligible to work in Germany
