Mining Technician

Location: Pecos, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $21/hour

Job Description

We are seeking a Mining Technician to support data center and production operations. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone with technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a team-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor production systems and report system status or issues
• Perform preventive maintenance on data center equipment
• Rack, cable, and deploy miners, servers, switches, PDUs, and network hardware
• Conduct basic network troubleshooting (switches, connectivity, Cat5/Cat6 cabling)
• Maintain accurate hardware maps, asset records, and company databases
• Assist with machine deployments and hardware RMAs
• Collaborate with Level II technicians on electrical and PDU troubleshooting
• Provide remote hands support as needed
• Maintain professional, clear, and team-focused communication

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of networking and hardware deployment
• Experience working in data centers or technical environments
• Ability to follow procedures and document work accurately
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $21/hour
