Mission Critical: Sales Manager

Scope of Position:

Working under the direction of the President, is responsible for developing and harvesting the Mission Critical / Data Center market for Mestex.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs day-to-day sales management of Mission Critical customers and representatives.
  • Locates, hires, and trains Mission Critical customers and representatives.
  • Gives customer presentations.
  • Justifies financials for Mission Critical applications.
  • Responds to RFQs from Mission Critical customers.
  • Coordinates Engineering and Application Engineering personnel in identifying and resolving technical issues in Mission Critical applications.
  • Remains current on trends and technologies applicable to the Mission Critical market.
  • Establishes goals and programs for Mission Critical customers and representatives.
  • Conforms to all Quality and Environmental Management System policies, objectives and obligations.
  • Perform any other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Associates degree or relevant on-the-job experience.
  • Five or more years of Sales experience in the Mission Critical market.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Strong understanding of all departments, functions, and responsibilities within a Mission Critical organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%.
  • Ability to use computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
