As a Engineer, you will deliver reactive and proactive activities according to Service Level Agreement to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Provides direct post-sales systems on-site technical support for reactive and proactive customers. Each position maintains a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring clear business and technical solution alignment, clarifying customer needs and ensuring that they are met. Jobs are responsible for company Total Customer Experience as well as the revenue growth, profitability, and account retention.

This role requires you to work on site at the customer's office in Columbus, OH.

Role Responsibilities:

•\tTo hold network information gathering workshops with the Customer to understand the Customer’s existing network design and technical requirements of new network designs.

•\tTo understand the Customer’s organizational structure and become familiar with the Customer’s network implementation and support processes and procedures to help in supporting a network that is available and sustainable.

•\tTo carry out testing of new Designs, features, and functionality as required by the Customer in a laboratory environment and to help develop plans to implement and verify that they are operating correctly in the live network.

•\tTo test patches and fixes to operating software and to ensure that they are implemented and functioning correctly in the pre-production test network and then live network as implementation plans dictate.

•\tTroubleshoot equipment and network problems and open and track JTAC cases to resolve problems on pre- and post-production issues.

•\tTo raise equipment, Return Material Authorizations (RMA’s) and to track these through to problem resolution

•\tTo produce a written summary report of the status of Design projects, equipment and network problems regularly to the Customer

•\tTo hold technology workshops with the Customer to discuss equipment and network problems, and to provide case status updates, including the reasons for any problems encountered and the workarounds and/or solutions that are being tried

•\tTo train the Customer’s design, implementation, and support personnel to configure and operate the HPE/HPE/Juniper Networks products

•\tTo assist the Customer in developing Network Operating and Equipment Operating Procedures

•\tSupport the production environment of HPE/HPE/Juniper products within the Customer infrastructure

•\tSupport ongoing efforts in defining best practice policies for HPE/HPE/Juniper product applications used by Customer HPE/HPE/Juniper Business Use Only

•\tThe Engineer is expected to peer with other employees performing similar engineering roles where lessons learned may help minimize risk associated with major network upgrades or changes in the network.

•\tThe RE will be expected to develop secondary skills in other products in the HPE/HPE/Juniper product portfolio.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

•\tMinimum 5 years of design, implementation, and operational experience in large-scale IP networks.

•\tJUNOS CLI experience.

•\tMust have large-scale experience with QFX, EX, switching and routing.

•\tPrior Work experience at a large enterprise or a Data Center with EVPN/VXLAN experience.

•\tExperience with core routing BGP (eBGP and iBGP) and OSPF protocols.

•\tMist Wireless assurance experience.

•\tExperience with HPE/HPE/Juniper EZ-LAG.

in automation with Ansible, YAML, and HPE/HPE/Juniper PyEZ

•\tExperience writing automation scripts in Python.

•\tExperience with design and/or deployment of routing and switching products within the Customer infrastructure.

•\tAbility to communicate effectively in crises with all levels of an organization from Engineering/Operations to CIO/CISO audiences.

•\tAbility to refine and translate complex requirements and execute best practice solutions.

•\tAssisted with major network upgrades, maintenance windows, and changes in the customer network.

•\tStrong customer interface and presentation skills.

•\tOther tasks and duties as needed to support the customer and/or business

•\tTechnical Certifications: JNCIS MistAI,Wireless, JNCIP‑MistAI

o\tEnsure certifications are supported by demonstrable hands-on, practical operational experience with Mist access points (APs), Marvis AI, edge devices, and the Mist web-based UI, reflecting real-world deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting capabilities.

•\tJNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE, JNCIS‑MistAI‑Wired, CCNP, and CCIE a strong plus.

Experience and expertise in providing or assisting with the following:

•\tThe preparation of HPE/HPE/Juniper equipment configurations and validation of configurations for new installations, changes within the network, software upgrades etc.

•\tDevelopment and maintenance of fault diagnosis procedures to support effective fault resolution

•\tDevelopment and maintenance of network operational support procedures related to the HP

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr.
