Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer \nLondon & South East \n \nPurpose of Job \nWe are looking for an experienced Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team, working across commercial sites in designated region. This is a mobile role covering multiple buildings, carrying out PPM, reactive maintenance, fault finding and electrical repairs in a professional, customer‑focused environment. \nThis role suits an engineer with strong electrical knowledge, excellent fault‑finding ability, and experience working in Facilities Management (FM), Building Services, commercial properties or multi‑site environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCarry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) on electrical systems including lighting, power, emergency lighting and distribution boards.\nComplete reactive maintenance, electrical repairs and breakdown support across multiple client sites.\nDiagnose electrical faults quickly and return systems to service.\nUndertake minor electrical installation works and remedial tasks.\nComplete electrical testing and inspection duties (EICR tasks where qualified).\nUpdate logbooks, service sheets and compliance documentation.\nEnsure safe working practices through risk assessments and method statements.\nMaintain full compliance with Health & Safety, regulations and company procedures.\nManage spare parts and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.\nUpdate CAFM systems (e.g.

Maximo) ensuring accurate job closure.\nProvide excellent customer service and represent the business professionally.\nSupport subcontractors on site and supervise works when required.\nTake part in an out‑of‑hours call‑out rota.\nPerform additional duties required by the engineering and management team.Knowledge & Skills\n\nNVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Electrical Maintenance (essential).\n18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential).\nC&G 2391 Test & Inspection ( but not essential).\nFull UK driving licence.\nExperience \nEssential: \n- Previous experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in commercial buildings. \n- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. \n- PPM, reactive maintenance and minor electrical works.

\n- Experience working in FM, Building Services or multi‑site mobile roles.\n\nDesirable: \n- Basic mechanical awareness (e.g. pumps, fans, motors). \n- Familiarity with BMS systems.
