Job Description
Salary equivalent of £50,336 + £5k shift allowance for working nights.

£25.33 per hour (blended rate) PAYE.
\n
Mainly working 4 on 4 off continental shift patterns of days and nights (12hr days). Shift times are 6:30-18:30 & 18:30-6:30.

Role Requirements - Shift Engineer Criteria
\n
Essential Technical Skills & Experience
\n
* Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a technical engineering role within a commercial building, critical environment, data centre, or high end corporate site
\n * Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background (multi skilled )
\n * Confident carrying out PPM and reactive tasks on critical systems under time pressure
\n * Experience working on shift in 24/7 environments
\n * Competent with the following systems:
\n
* HVAC (AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems)
\n * Electrical distribution, lighting, and power
\n * Pumps, motors, BMS controls, basic fault finding
\n * Plumbing and general M&E plant
\n
\n * Ability to manage and prioritise alarms, callouts, and critical incidents
\n * Comfortable coordinating with contractors and maintaining safe working procedures
\n
Certifications Required
\n
* Level 2 or 3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
\n * 18th Edition (for electrically biased engineers)
\n * City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent trade certification
\n * Right to Work documentation
\n * CSCS/ECS card
\n
Shift Pattern & Expectations
\n
* Continental shift pattern (details can be provided but usually 12 hour days/nights)
\n * Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
\n * Confident in client facing situations, maintaining a high level of professionalism
\n * Ability to provide clear handovers between shifts
\n

\n Role Details
\n
* Immediate start
\n * Temporary (could be full time following a trial period), on-site role
