As a Network Administrator, your day will be filled with opportunities to plan, implement, monitor and maintain the Bank’s network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Install, monitor and maintain the bank’s WAN/LAN infrastructure
- Participate in annual disaster recovery test exercises
- Support for Helpdesk Team with issue resolution
- Participation in the on-call rotation
- After hours support and administration
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's in computer science or related field . Relevant work experience may be substituted
- 1-5 years supporting a corporate IT infrastructure in the role of Network Administrator.
- Ability to be on-time and work flexible schedules
- Ability to diagnose and correct issues with the WAN/LAN infrastructure
- Ability to effectively handle multiple projects/assignments concurrently
- Have a results-oriented mentality while working with a sense of urgency
- Effective time management skills
- Have a team first mentality, but have the ability to work independently when needed
- Self-motivated, dependable and trustworthy
- Effective written and oral skills
- Ability to communicate and collaborate across all levels of the organization as well as with technology partners in a professional manner
- Ability to analyze complex issues and evaluate cause & effect scenarios while under pressure
- Desire for continuous learning and staying current on new technologies
Professional appearance and demeanor
- Participate in all strategic technology architecture evaluations, designs, planning and implementation initiatives associated with your area of responsibility
- Remain up to date on the latest technology trends and strategies via training, conferences, vendor meetings, etc.

- LAN/WAN Switching (L2/L3), including VLANs, Private VLANs, Trunking, Etherchannel and VTP
