What this Journey Looks Like
We are looking for a Network Administrator to join the team of a leading Canadian client. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, and maintenance of enterprise network environments, ensuring availability, performance, and security of critical systems.
What You’ll Do

Administer, operate, and support local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and related network infrastructures.

Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and services, including firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, and wireless access points (Palo Alto, Cisco, BIG-IP, Arista).

Handle operational escalations related to daily network operations, including incident investigation, troubleshooting, remediation, and change requests.

Monitor network services, data center connectivity, and local and wide area network connections to ensure stability and performance.

Participate in a rotational on-call schedule to support critical production systems on a 24/7 basis.

Support network-related projects, including implementation, installation, configuration, and upgrades of network infrastructure components.

Continuously monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.

Perform routine network security checks and support compliance with internal security policies and standards.

Plan and execute hardware and software updates, patches, and maintenance activities.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including configurations, procedures, inventories, and troubleshooting records.

Collaborate with internal IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure network services meet business and operational needs.

Analyze network traffic and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and suggest operational improvements.
What You Bring to the Table

Location: APAC

Fluent English.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in network administration and firewall management (Palo Alto, Cisco, BIG-IP).

Experience administering Palo Alto firewalls, including Panorama.

Cisco CCNA® certification is required.

Strong experience with network administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support.

Experience supporting multi-site and enterprise network environments.

Ability to manage incidents, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams.

Experience in payment systems or the merchant acquiring industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
