The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer to join our Professional Services team, delivering high-impact networking and security projects for a wide range of mid-market and enterprise clients across finance, retail, manufacturing, and technology.
You'll be hands-on across the full project lifecycle - from solution design and customer workshops, through deployment, to handover into operational support. This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, sharpen your technical expertise, and play a key role in delivering secure, saleable, and innovative solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • \nDesigning secure network solutions - running customer workshops, producing HLD/LLD documentation, and building POCs to validate solutions.
  • \n

  • \nImplementing solutions - preparing changes, building configuration templates, creating test scripts and deployment runbooks, and configuring routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • \n

  • \nLeading projects - acting as lead engineer on both large (multi-month) and smaller projects, balancing competing priorities while ensuring successful delivery.
  • \n

  • \nKnowledge sharing - developing tools, guides, and processes to strengthen the team's capability and mentoring junior engineers.
  • \n

  • \nStaying ahead of the curve - becoming a subject matter expert across key networking and security technologies while continuing your own professional development.
  • \n

What We're Looking For

    \n
  • Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to explain technical detail clearly and produce quality documentation.
  • \n

  • Organised, detail-driven, and able to balance multiple deadlines in a structured way (ITIL background helpful).
  • \n

  • Passionate about technology, with a drive to learn and develop.
  • \n

  • Hands-on technical expertise including:\n
      \n
    • \nNetworking: Strong 3rd Line equivalent - Cisco routing/switching, WAN, campus, and data centre (ACI, Nexus 5K/7K/9K, VXLAN, EVPN).
    • \n

    • \nFirewalls: Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto, FortiGate
    • \n

    • \nWireless: Cisco & Meraki Wi-Fi (ideally certification required).
    • \n

    • \nMonitoring tools: SolarWinds, ThousandEyes.
    • \n

    \n

  • \n

Qualifications & Certifications

  • \nEssential:\n
      \n
    • CCNP (or equivalent experience)
    • \n

    • Cisco Wi-Fi certification and proven engineering experience
    • \n

    \n

  • \n

  • \nHighly Desirable:\n
      \n
    • CCIE R&S
    • \n

    • Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE
    • \n

    \n

  • \n

  • \nDesirable:\n
      \n
    • CCNP Security, Cisco CCNA Security, Checkpoint SA/SE
    • \n

    • Cloud certifications (AWS SAA/SAP, Azure MCSA/MCSE)
    • \n

    • ITIL and/or project management certification
    • \n

    • Degree or diploma in a related discipline
    • \n

  • \n
