Network Architect\n\n+18 months +\n\n+DV cleared\n\n+On site in Hampshire\n\n+Outside IR35\n\n+£550-£650 a day \n\nWe are seeking an experienced Network Architect to join a high-profile MOD programme delivering secure, mission-critical network capabilities. This is a hands-on architecture role requiring deep technical expertise across modern data centre and wide area networking technologies.\n\nWorking within a highly secure environment, you will be responsible for designing, assuring and evolving complex network architectures that support large-scale digital transformation and operational requirements.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign and develop secure network architectures for enterprise and defence environments.\nProduce high and low-level network designs, technical documentation and implementation plans.\nLead network architecture decisions across data centre, campus and WAN environments.\nProvide technical assurance and governance throughout the project lifecycle.\nCollaborate with engineering, security and delivery teams to ensure successful deployment of network solutions.\nSupport troubleshooting and optimisation of complex network infrastructures.\n\nEssential Skills & Experience\n\nActive DV Clearance.\nProven experience operating as a Network Architect within complex enterprise or defence environments.\nStrong expertise in: \nBGP\nEVPN-VXLAN\nSoftware Defined Networking (SDN)\nWAN Architecture and Design\nExperience with modern data centre networking technologies and architectures.\nStrong understanding of network security principles and secure-by-design approaches.\nAbility to produce detailed technical designs and architecture documentation.\nExperience working within large-scale transformation or infrastructure programmes.\nExperience delivering solutions within MOD If you'd like to discuss this Network Architect role in more detail, please send your updated CV to (url removed) and I will get in touch
