Job Description

Job Title: Network Architect

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ months contract

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity patterns to integrate existing on-prem data center networks with AWS services.
• Design secure, high-performance network architectures that meet compliance, governance, and business continuity requirements.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to enable seamless migrations and optimize network operations.
• Establish network governance standards and best practices to support long-term growth and evolving enterprise needs.
• Ensure routing, segmentation, and security policies are aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
• Drive high availability and disaster recovery strategies for mission-critical workloads.

Mandatory Skills:

1. Extensive experience in network architecture across AWS and on-premises environments. -8 years
2. Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), network segmentation, and firewall technologies. -8 years
3. Hands-on experience with hybrid connectivity solutions (VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway). -8 years
4. Expertise in network security principles, including encryption, , and compliance frameworks. -8 years
5. Proficiency in high availability design, load balancing, and failover strategies. -8 years
6. Familiarity with network automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD integration for infrastructure. -8 years

Desirable Skills:

1. Experience with multi-cloud networking (Azure, GCP) and cloud- networking services. -8 years
2. Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and advanced security models. -8 years
3. Exposure to SD-WAN technologies and network observability tools (NetFlow, CloudWatch, Prometheus). -8 years
4. Understanding of cost optimization strategies for cloud networking. -8 years
5. Certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, or Azure Network Engineer Associate. -8 years
