About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable and field-driven Network Cabling Project Manager with proven experience in structured cabling and fiber infrastructure within commercial building environments. This role requires a strong understanding of low-voltage systems and the ability to manage installation teams, ensuring projects are executed with precision, compliance, and efficiency.

This is not a general IT or telecom project management role — the focus is specifically on structured cabling and on-site project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage structured cabling and low-voltage projects from initiation through completion
• Oversee installation of Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A cabling systems within commercial facilities
• Direct and coordinate field technicians, subcontractors, and installation teams on-site
• Manage and supervise fiber optic installation, including splicing, termination, and testing
• Ensure all installations meet NEC standards and low-voltage compliance requirements
• Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and network schematics to ensure accurate execution
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality standards, ensuring timely and successful delivery
• Act as the primary point of contact for on-site coordination and issue resolution

Key Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing structured cabling projects (Cat5e / Cat6 / Cat6A) in commercial building environments
• Strong working knowledge of fiber optic systems, including splicing, termination, and testing
• Proven experience in low-voltage systems and NEC compliance
• Hands-on experience managing field operations, installation crews, and subcontractors
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical schematics
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Critical Requirements

• Candidates must have direct experience in inside-building structured cabling projects
• Candidates must demonstrate hands-on or closely managed fiber work (splicing, termination, testing)
• Experience limited to telecom towers, wireless deployments, or IT/data center operations will not be considered
