Network Design & Implementation:
-\tDesign, configure, and implement complex network solutions for LAN, WAN, and data center environments
-\tDeploy and manage advanced routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP
-\tLead network upgrade projects and ensure minimal disruption to business operations
Security Administration (Palo Alto):
-\tAdminister and manage Palo Alto firewalls for on-premises security
-\tConfigure security policies, VPNs, and application control to protect the corporate network
-\tExtend and manage security policies in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) using Palo Alto's cloud-based solutions
Cisco LAN & SD-Access:
-\tManage and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst Infrastructure, ensuring high performance and availability
-\tUtilize and support Cisco SD-Access to automate network provisioning and management Cisco ISE
-\tResolve complex LAN issues, including VLANs, spanning-tree protocol, and port security
Network Monitoring & Performance Management:
-\tImplement and manage comprehensive network monitoring solutions to track performance, availability, and security
-\tConfigure alerts and dashboards to proactively identify and respond to network anomalies and outages
-\tUse network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, or similar) to analyze traffic patterns, diagnose performance bottlenecks, and generate reports for capacity planning
-\tConduct proactive performance tuning and optimize network configurations based on monitoring data

Looking for candidates within 1-1.5 hour drive of Glendale, Kentucky and willing to go onsite on a semi-regular basis. Long Term Contract.
Energy is repurposing an existing factory in Glendale, Kentucky. This was one of previous joint venture EV battery plants. This is a brownfield redesign. They have a large datacenter on-prem, racks, non-functional printers, etc. that were left over from the previous joint venture. They need to redesign the manufacturing plant, so the previous network infrastructure layout will not work.
They are at the initial stages of creating their IT leadership teams and technology strategy, so we’re at the stages of being able to position as the partner for this work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $70.00/hr.
