Our Client is Looking for a Network Engineer at Dallas, TX / Richmond, VA (Hybrid) and below is the detailed requirements.

Job description:

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5–7+ years L3 routing/switching in multi-site enterprise WAN environments.
• Deep BGP expertise: eBGP/iBGP, route policies, prefix filtering, communities, local-pref/med, AS-path, graceful restart, flap damping (as applicable).
• Familiarity with MPLS L3VPN and carrier interop.
• Hands-on with enterprise firewalls (Fortinet used in environment) for interface states, VRs/VRFs, and routing integration.
• Experience with LTE/5G failover solutions, ideally CradlePoint 1855 (NetCloud Manager familiarity ).
• Proficient with change management, MoPs, and ITSM tools (ServiceNow).
• Strong documentation, coordination and communication skills.

Tooling & Access:

• Network Device Access: SSH/HTTPS to firewalls/routers at data center and sites.
• Monitoring: SNMP/flow tools (SolarWinds).
• CradlePoint: NetCloud Manager access (read/write to verify failover state).
• Visibility: Syslog/Splunk, NTP, and time-synced logs for accurate timestamps.
• Collab: MS Teams, SharePoint, Change Calendar.
• ITSM: Change/Incident/Problem (e.g., ServiceNow).
