Network Engineer (Senior)

The Role \n We are seeking a Infrastructure Engineer (Microsoft & Data Centre) to join our growing team. \n You’ll play a key role in designing, delivering, and optimising enterprise infrastructure solutions — leveraging Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, and modern data centre architectures. \n Working within our Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment, you’ll act as a trusted advisor, helping clients modernise their IT systems, improve resilience, and adopt hybrid and cloud solutions.

\n\n Key Responsibilities \n Design, implement, and support Microsoft-based solutions (Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365, Azure). \n Deliver consultancy on modern data centre technologies including virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V), storage, backup, and disaster recovery. \n Lead migrations and upgrades from legacy systems to cloud or hybrid platforms.

\n Assess client environments, identify risks, and recommend improvements. \n Provide technical pre-sales support and solution design input. \n Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality, end-to-end projects.

\n Mentor junior engineers and support escalation cases. \n Ensure all work is documented to a high standard and delivered within scope and deadlines. \n\n Required Skills & Experience \n Strong background in Microsoft technologies: \n Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP \n Microsoft 365 & Exchange Online \n Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, security)\n Experience with VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.

\n Knowledge of storage, networking, and backup technologies. \n Proven experience in data centre migrations and transformation projects. \n Strong understanding of IT security best practices.

\n Excellent communication and documentation skills. \n Experience in an MSP or consultancy environment ().
