Job Title: Network Project Manager\n Location: Birmingham/Sheffield (on-site 3x days per week)\n Salary/Rate: £474 Per Day - Inside IR35\n Start Date: 02/01/2026\n Job Type: Initial 6 month contract\n\nCompany Introduction\n\nWe have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Network Project Manager to help deliver key connectivity initiatives for 2026.\n\nJob Responsibilities/Objectives\n\nThe role involves managing complex network and data centre projects, ensuring alignment with our clients governance standards, and driving successful delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.\n\nLead and manage network-related projects within the Connectivity portfolio.\nOversee delivery of Data Centre and network infrastructure changes, ensuring compliance with change governance processes.\nManage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies in line with our clients governance frameworks.\nEnsure robust financial management and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.\nProvide flexibility to support critical activities during weekends if required.Required Skills/Experience\nThe ideal candidate will have the following:\n\nStrong network and connectivity expertise, including Data Centre and network delivery.\nProven experience in project management within large-scale infrastructure programs.\nFamiliarity with our clients governance processes, risk management, and change control.\nSolid understanding of financial management in project environments.\nPrior experience working with our client is highly .\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to work in a hybrid model (3 days onsite in Birmingham or Sheffield).Desirable Skills/Experience\n The following skills are desired by the client:\n\nFlexibility to work outside standard hours (including weekends) when required.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply now with your updated CV in Microsoft Word/PDF format.\n\nDisclaimer\n Notwithstanding any guidelines given to level of experience sought, we will consider candidates from outside this range if they can demonstrate the necessary competencies.\n\nSquare One is acting as both an employment agency and an employment business, and is an equal opportunities recruitment business.
