Source 1 Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Network Specialist for a strategic contract engagement at a customer locations. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between our internal infrastructure goals and our Managed Service Provider (MSP). You will report directly to the IT Director, providing the technical expertise and high-level oversight necessary to ensure our environment is secure, scalable, and performing at peak efficiency, with a fast growing company and communication is key and GCHAT, cell phone calls/texts, etc. Not a typical "live in your inbox" culture.

Key Responsibilities

•           Infrastructure Oversight: Act as the primary technical point of contact for network-related projects, ensuring all implementations align with company standards.

•           MSP Collaboration: Coordinate with our MSP to manage tickets, oversee scheduled maintenance, and validate that SLA (Service Level Agreement) requirements are consistently met.

•           Project & Task Management: Use Asana to track project milestones, manage deliverables, and provide transparent progress updates to the IT Director.

•           Collaboration & Admin: Manage network-related documentation and integrations within Google Workspace (e.g., Google Groups, Shared Drives, and SSO configurations).

•           Network Optimization: Monitor network performance (LAN/WAN/WLAN) and proactively identify bottlenecks or security vulnerabilities.

Technical Requirements

Category          Requirements

Networking      Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.

Productivity     Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Admin Console, Sheets for data, etc.).

Project Tools    Experience managing complex technical workflows via Asana.

Security           Proficiency in firewall management, NAC (Network Access Control), and VPN tunneling.

Cloud/Hybrid   Experience managing network connectivity to Azure, AWS, or private data centers.

Qualifications

•           Experience: 5+ years of dedicated networking experience, specifically in environments that utilize modern SaaS stacks for operations.

•           Workflow Mastery: Proven ability to manage a high volume of tasks in Asana, ensuring no project "falls through the cracks" between the IT Director and the MSP.

•           Ecosystem Knowledge: Experience troubleshooting connectivity issues specifically related to Google Workspace services and third-party API integrations.

•           Soft Skills: Strong "translator" skills—the ability to take high-level direction from the IT Director and turn it into technical requirements for the MSP.

Reporting Structure

You will work under the direct supervision of the IT Director. Your success will be measured by your ability to keep projects moving forward in Asana, maintain a clean Google Workspace environment, and ensure the MSP is delivering high-quality service.
