SUMMARY

We're seeking a hands-on New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to lead the industrialization and launch of metal-mechanical products, with a strong focus on generator enclosures and assemblies for data center applications. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead end-to-end NPI execution from design freeze through production ramp and full-scale manufacturing.
  • Own phase-gate deliverables including DFM/DFA, process readiness, cost targets, and risk management.
  • Ensure enclosure designs are optimized for manufacturability, assembly, and serviceability.
  • Drive continuous design and process improvements across fabrication operations.
  • Validate manufacturing readiness through FAI, capability studies, and pilot builds.
  • Serve as manufacturing lead and cross-functional liaison for NPI programs.
  • Ensure on-time readiness aligned with customer delivery commitments.
  • Lead product and process transfer to Manufacturing and Operations.
  • Standardize lessons learned into future NPI best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or (equivalent).
  • 5+ years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), Manufacturing Engineering, or Process Engineering within a metal-mechanical environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects or workstreams within a structured NPI or product development framework.
  • Hands-on experience with datacenter infrastructure products, including enclosures and electrical or mechanical housings.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks/PDM/AutoCAD).
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and PLM tools.
  • Lean manufacturing and problem-solving certifications (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
