Job Summary
Dhaka Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced Tier 3 Network Lead to manage and support enterprise wired and wireless network infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, security, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, internet, routing, switching, and related network systems.
The ideal candidate will have expert-level routing and switching knowledge, strong experience with Cisco and Aruba environments, advanced monitoring skills using SolarWinds, and an active CCNP certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Tier 3 technical lead for enterprise network operations.
- Maintain performance and availability of wired and wireless network infrastructure.
- Support Cisco switching and routing environments, including core, distribution, floor, external, regional office, and internet routing infrastructure.
- Monitor LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet performance, including latency, jitter, bandwidth, packet loss, device health, and throughput.
- Diagnose and resolve network outages, routing issues, connectivity problems, hardware failures, authentication failures, and performance degradation.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco switches, routers, VLANs, routing protocols, and related infrastructure.
- Support Aruba wireless infrastructure, including Aruba Central, access points, wireless switching, RF troubleshooting, coverage validation, and firmware updates.
- Use SolarWinds to monitor infrastructure health, configure alerts, manage dependencies, and reduce alert noise.
- Coordinate with ISPs and third-party providers for circuit outages, service restoration, upgrades, after-action reporting, and vendor escalations.
- Support WAN connectivity to cloud services and external providers.
- Maintain network diagrams, RF maps, circuit inventories, configuration records, and operational documentation.
- Support change management activities for network upgrades, maintenance windows, firmware updates, and configuration changes.
- Provide technical recommendations for network architecture, capacity planning, security, performance standards, and infrastructure improvements.
- Support distributed antenna system monitoring and vendor troubleshooting when required.
- Participate in after-hours escalation for Priority 1 and Priority 2 network or infrastructure incidents.
Required Qualifications
- Senior-level experience in network engineering or enterprise network operations.
- Expert-level knowledge of routing and switching.
- CCNP certification required.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco switches, routers, CLI, VLANs, routing protocols, WAN, LAN, and internet connectivity.
- Experience with SolarWinds Orion or similar enterprise monitoring tools.
- Experience with Aruba wireless technologies and Aruba Central.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet performance issues.
- Experience coordinating with ISPs, telecom providers, vendors, and internal technical teams.
- Strong understanding of network security principles, segmentation, access controls, and infrastructure hardening.
- Ability to prepare technical documentation, change records, incident reports, and after-action reports.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting Cisco Nexus, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco ASR, Aruba CX, and enterprise Wi-Fi environments.
- Experience with TACACS+, Wireshark, HP switch CLI, and network troubleshooting tools.
- Experience supporting public-facing Wi-Fi, regional office connectivity, data center networking, and cloud connectivity.
- Experience working in ITIL-based managed services environments.
- Experience supporting federal, nonprofit, museum, education, or high-availability enterprise environments.
