Operational Project Manager for ERP and Digital Transformation (m/f/d) - Focus on Retail and Logi...

Job Description Welcome to Andronaco – where work tastes like “La Dolce Vita”!

For over 40 years, we’ve been bringing Italian joie de vivre to Germany. What began as a small market stall is now Germany’s leading importer of Italian food and wine. With our “Grande Mercato” supermarkets, our restaurants, and a strong wholesale division, we’re an institution of culinary delight.

We are not resting on our laurels. On the contrary: We are launching the largest transformation project in our company’s history. We are phasing out our legacy systems and building a modern, integrated IT landscape. For this, we are not looking for a theoretical consultant, but rather an “Operations Project Manager” who not only defines processes but brings them to life together with our teams.

Operational Project Manager for ERP and Digital Transformation (m/f/d) – Focus on Retail and Logistics Your Responsibilities: Creating Structure, Building Bridges

You will report directly to senior management and act as the central interface between strategy, functional departments (warehouse, purchasing, sales), and external software partners.

  • Migration Architect: You will manage the phased implementation of ERP and WMS. You will identify areas with high added value for rapid transitions and ensure that legacy and new systems communicate seamlessly during the transition phase (parallel operation).
  • Data Architect: You bring order to our data. You are responsible for cleaning up master data (especially customs, DSD, wine vintages) and establishing clear gatekeeping processes for the future.
  • Technology Manager: You oversee the transition to a data center (managed hosting) and evaluate future-proof POS architectures (point-of-sale systems) in terms of stability and costs.
  • Strategic Analyst: You make decisions not based on gut instinct, but on well-founded cost-benefit-risk analyses.
  • Logistics Optimizer: You understand that software requires space. When necessary, you also coordinate structural adjustments in the warehouse (e.g., setting up goods receipt inspection zones) to ensure scanner processes function properly.
  • Communicator: You engage all employees—from the warehouse to accounting—and ensure binding agreements and training sessions.

Your Profile: Business acumen and a passion for IT

We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in retail who can implement complex IT projects in a pragmatic and down-to-earth manner.

  • Experience: A college degree (e.g., Business Informatics, Business Administration, Logistics) or comparable professional training with relevant work experience. You have successfully led at least three ERP implementations in medium-sized retail companies. You understand the challenges of replacing legacy systems.
  • Industry: Experience in food wholesale, retail, or the restaurant industry is desirable. You understand why a vintage change in wine is complex and what best-before dates or batches mean.
  • Mindset: You act with a business mindset, think in a structured manner, and weigh risks against benefits. You are engaging in your communication and solution-oriented in your actions.
  • Tech Stack: In-depth knowledge of hosting, infrastructure, and warehouse logistics (WMS, MDE).
  • Skills: You are fluent in German and have good English skills. Since we are a multicultural team, additional skills (especially Italian) are a welcome plus.
  • Willingness to Travel: You will be on-site for rollouts at our stores (including Cologne, Hanover, Ratingen, and Bielefeld).

Your “Dolce Vita” at Andronaco – here’s what we offer:

  • Real influence: You won’t just maintain the status quo; you’ll lay the foundation for our future. You’ll benefit from short decision-making paths directly to senior management.
  • Security: A permanent employment contract in a crisis-proof, growing family business.
  • Work-life balance: 30 days of vacation + additional vacation days
  • Perks and benefits: Employee discounts in our stores and bistros
  • Facilities: A modern workplace with up-to-date hardware and free parking right outside the door.
  • Culture: A warm, family-like atmosphere where passion for the product is lived out.

Do you have the courage to embrace change?

Do you want to be the architect of our digital future? Then we look forward to receiving your application!

Please send your application materials (resume, list of projects, salary expectations, and availability) via email to: k.notaro@andronaco.de.

We look forward to hearing from you! A presto!
