Job Title: Owners Representative (Data Centers)

The company

An award winning engineering firm is seeking a proven project leader to act as an Owner’s Representative on mission-critical construction projects. In this role, you’ll serve as the owner’s trusted liaison—overseeing contractors, engineers, and design teams to deliver complex, high-value projects from concept to closeout.

The position

• Manage the full project lifecycle: planning, design, construction, commissioning, and closeout
• Oversee budgets, schedules, change orders, and risk mitigation for multimillion-dollar projects
• Lead contractor selection, negotiations, and bid reviews
• Provide clear, proactive communication to clients and stakeholders
• Mentor project teams and drive continuous improvement

Could this role be for you?

• 8+ years in mission critical, power facilities, data centers, or similar technical construction environments
• Strong knowledge of project management best practices, safety, and compliance
• Skilled with Procore, MS Office, and construction management tools
• Proven ability to lead large-scale projects ($1M+) on time and within budget
• Willingness to travel 50% nationwide; on-site presence required during projects
