P6 Scheduler
PPG Staffing is recruiting an experienced P6 Scheduler for a large-scale data center construction project in Glendale, Arizona.
This is a full-time contract opportunity supporting a major mission-critical construction program. The P6 Scheduler will work closely with project leadership, field teams, subcontractors, and project controls personnel to develop, maintain, analyze, and communicate the project schedule.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction schedules using Oracle Primavera P6.
- Build and manage the project work breakdown structure, activity logic, durations, milestones, and critical path.
- Incorporate subcontractor schedules, procurement activities, material deliveries, commissioning requirements, and field progress into the master schedule.
- Collect schedule updates from project managers, superintendents, engineers, and trade partners.
- Analyze schedule performance, delays, constraints, float, and potential impacts to project milestones.
- Prepare weekly and monthly schedule updates, look-ahead schedules, progress reports, and schedule narratives.
- Identify scheduling risks and recommend recovery or mitigation strategies.
- Support project leadership with sequencing, forecasting, manpower planning, and milestone management.
- Participate in scheduling meetings with internal project teams, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate schedule documentation throughout the duration of the project.
What We’re Looking For
- Professional experience developing and maintaining construction schedules using Primavera P6.
- Experience supporting large commercial, industrial, advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, or mission-critical construction projects.
- Strong understanding of critical path method scheduling, construction sequencing, schedule logic, and progress measurement.
- Ability to evaluate subcontractor schedules and incorporate them into an integrated master schedule.
- Experience preparing schedule narratives, look-ahead reports, and variance analyses.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with project executives, field leadership, engineers, and trade partners.
- Data center construction experience is strongly .
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline is , but equivalent scheduling experience will be considered.
