Salary: £32,448 – £35,490 per annum Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7.15am – 5.30pm (39 hours, 4‑day week)

My client, part of a global engineering group, is seeking an experienced Switchgear Panel Wireman to join their brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art facility in Nottingham. This role is ideal for a Panel Wireman who enjoys working on complex, high‑quality electrical systems and wants to be part of a supportive, close‑knit team.

You’ll be working on cutting‑edge switchgear projects that power data centres for some of the world’s largest technology companies, offering long‑term stability and excellent career prospects.

As a Panel Wireman, you will:

• Manufacture and assemble high‑quality electrical switchgear systems

\n

• Work from CAD drawings and electrical schematics

\n

• Use tools and machinery safely and efficiently

\n

• Collaborate with the production team to meet build targets

\n

• Maintain 5S standards to ensure a safe, organised workspace

\n

• Follow all health and safety procedures

\n

• Proven experience in electrical wiring, assembly or manufacturing

\n

• Confident using hand tools and power tools

\n

• Strong communication skills and a team‑focused approach

\n

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

\n

• Able to work independently with good time management
