ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Payroll & Timekeeping
Collect, audit, and reconcile timesheets, sign-in sheets, PTO/UTO requests, and absence reports with the electronic clock-in system.
Ensure accurate and timely weekly payroll processing in accordance with company policy.
Process payroll corrections, paycheck deductions, per diem, layoff checks, and PTO payouts.
Manage employee transfers, crew changes, and supervisor org chart updates.
Maintain payroll submission schedules, review pay group accuracy and finalize payroll data.
Support job cost reporting and resolve discrepancies in hours, allocations, or pay.
Assist employees with payroll questions, paycheck issues, and employment verification requests.
Human Resources & Onboarding
Assist with new hire onboarding, site access, orientations, and compliance paperwork.
Maintain employee records, certifications, and licensing documentation.
Process evaluations, write-ups, class/crew changes, furloughs, and terminations.
Assist with benefits administration, distributing packets, tracking acknowledgments, and supporting employee inquiries.
Administrative Support
Assist with daily manpower and headcount reports for management and clients, uploading packing slips and maintaining site requirement documentation, and general office and administrative support to project managers and site supervisors. Assist with special projects and process development to improve efficiency and data accuracy.

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to manage weekly payroll and related workforce administration for our construction field teams. This role is office-based at the jobsite and requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. This person possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with the ability to develop and improve upon processes and procedures for on-boarding, payroll, and HR compliance.
