Job Overview

This position will be responsible for setting up machines, performing repairs and running production on various RBY product lines.

Job Requirements

  • Setting up and operating machines and tools to start the production or manufacturing operations; monitoring and adjusting machine settings as per the work requirement.
  • Reviewing the departmental operating procedures, identifying areas of improvement, removing obstacles, and streamlining operational efficiency.
  • Performing quality checks as per the plan, documenting the results per the standard quality procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Ordering raw materials, changing stock when needed, verifying receipts, and inspecting materials and products to ensure conformance to specifications.

What your background should look like

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • \n

  • Experience with machine set-up
  • \n

  • Basic machine shop knowledge ability to run the band saw, drill press and some basic surface grinding
  • \n

  • Ability to utilize inspection equipment to measure tooling/product for conformance. Inspection equipment includes: comparator, micrometers, dial calipers and gages.
  • \n

  • Working knowledge of hand tools
  • \n

  • Prior knowledge of RBY machines is highly
  • \n

  • Experience with SAP is but not required
  • \n

  • Must be able to lift/push/pull and carry a minimum weight of 30 lbs.
  • \n

  • Must be able to move at least 180 lbs. on a hand truck
  • \n

  • Frequently required to extend arms and hands between knees & shoulders; frequent holding and grasping with hands.
  • \n

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $23.00 to $24.00/Hour Plus 3rd Shift Differential - Position will train on 2nd Shift 2pm to 10pm Mon - Fri for the 1st 2 months of employment. (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
