Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pipe Stress Engineer, located in Frederick, MD. The Pipe Stress Engineer will be responsible for performing stress analysis, calculating loads and stress levels on piping systems, designing pipe and equipment supports, bases, curbs, etc. Additional tasks include providing design engineering support, reviewing engineering designs and specifications, and collaborating with teams to ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Stress Analysis
  • Experience in Design Engineering and performing calculations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Must have Professional Engineer PE license. License in DC, MD, VA
  • Relevant industry experience or certifications are a strong advantage
  • Experience with commercial HVAC and data center cooling
