Planners (project controls)\n\nData Centres | UK | Primavera P6\n\nWe’re looking for experienced Planners for a contract role on major data centre projects in the UK and/or Europe.\n\nThis will suit someone who knows how to manage programmes on fast-paced, technically complex builds, and has solid experience across data centres, MEP, commissioning, and live delivery environments.\n\nYou’ll be responsible for building and managing programmes in Primavera P6, tracking progress, spotting delays and risks early, and giving the delivery team clear planning support throughout the project.\n\nWhat you’ll be doing\n\nBuilding, updating, and managing detailed programmes in Primavera P6\n\t\nManaging baseline, live, and recovery schedules\n\t\nProducing Level 3 / Level 4 programmes\n\t\nTracking progress, analysing the critical path, and flagging risks\n\t\nWorking closely with PMs, site teams, subcontractors, commercial teams, and clients\n\t\nReviewing subcontractor programmes against the master schedule\n\t\nSupporting reporting, lookaheads, milestones, and progress updates\n\t\nAssessing the impact of delays, change, and programme issues\n\nWhat we’re looking for\n\nExperience as a Planner or Lead / Senior Planner\n\t\nStrong track record on data centre or mission-critical projects\n\t\nVery good Primavera P6 skills (great if you had experience in Synchro 4D)\n\t\nGood understanding of construction sequencing, programme logic, and progress tracking\n\t\nExperience across CSA, MEP, and/or commissioning\n\t\nComfortable in a busy project environment with lots of moving parts\n\t\nStrong communication and reporting skills\n\nGood fit if you’ve worked on\n\nHyperscale or colo data centres\n\t\nMEP-heavy or mission-critical builds\n\t\nShell & core through to fit-out and commissioning\n\t\nMain contractor, subcontractor, or client-side projects\n\nGood exposure across programme, reporting, and project interfaces\n\nIf you’re a Planner with solid data centre experience, I’d be keen to speak.\n\nOsirian Consulting is committed to working with our clients to promote equality and in the workplace.
