Plant Maintenance Supervisor

We are currently seeking to hire a Maintenance Supervisor as a member of our Seamless Team your importance is supporting or preventative maintenance programs. As the Maintenance Technician you will assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities. You will work to minimize unplanned downtime, improve production quality, increase equipment efficiency, and maintain a clean and a safe work environment.
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our facility and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians, coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently
and safely.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and facilities.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with equipment.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Collaborate with other departments to support production and minimize downtime.
Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Experience in the structural steel or construction industry is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if necessary.
This position requires the following physical and mental demands consisting of, but not limited to the following:
- Must be able to work in an industrial environment at elevated heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to bend, pull, stoop, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and reach to perform functions
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
- Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
- Ability to hear in person and via phone
- Must be able to pass a drug test
