About This RoleAs part of Intersect’s Portfolio Management team, you’ll support the financial oversight of our growing portfolio of large-scale clean energy projects. You’ll play a key role in the management of structured finance agreements including non-recourse debt, tax equity, portfolio financings, and hybrid facilities while working closely with lenders, investors, consultants, and internal teams. Your analytical work and financial modeling will directly shape how our projects are managed, optimized, and capitalized, driving both growth and impact across Intersect’s platform.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For the first 6 months the expectation is that you will be working closely with the Portfolio Finance (Capital Markets) as you get up trained on the operating projects.
What You’ll Do
Lead Project Modeling• Own and maintain the financial modeling for operations stage projects including term loans, tax equity, back leverage, hybrid/holdco structures.• Forecast performance under different assumptions to support decision-making and optimize outcomes for key stakeholders.
Support Financial Management• Partner cross-functionally with Portfolio Finance, Asset Management, Operations, Construction, and FP&A Teams on budgeting, forecasting, and working capital analysis. • Support compliance with financing agreements, ensuring all covenants, deliverables, and reporting obligations are met.
Shape Strategy & Manage Risk• Monitor portfolio-level risk metrics, perform sensitivity analysis, and scenario stress testing to identify impacts to performance.• Contribute to corporate and project-level valuations to guide capital allocation and strategic decisions.
Drive Due Diligence & Execution• Coordinate due diligence processes for project and portfolio refinancing across lenders, investors, consultants, and attorneys.• Review key project contracts, economic terms, consultant reports, and third-party deliverables to ensure alignment and readiness for closing.
What You’ll Bring• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics or equivalent experience.• 2-4+ years of investment banking experience in renewables, power & utilities, or infrastructure.• Experience supporting complex project finance transactions and due diligence. • Strong understanding of portfolio finance concepts: cash flow modeling, risk assessment, and asset/loan underwriting.• Advanced technical modeling skills (Excel, VBA, SQL or Python).• Ability to track and interpret portfolio trends, understand drivers of performance and risk.• Experience with U.S. tax equity transactions strongly .• Ability to manage complex processes, balancing multiple stakeholders and aggressive timelines.• Familiarity with tax-advantaged transactions or U.S. power markets a plus.• A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.Total RewardsAt Intersect, we support your well-being, growth, and balance with a comprehensive rewards package:
