Qualified candidates will have:

• Experience in construction in Data Center, Mission Critical, Biotech, or large project experience.
• A minimum of 4 years experience in Preconstruction.
• Willing to lead with a hands on approach.
• The ability to build and maintain meaningful professional relationships with your team, clients, and subcontractors.
• Local market knowledge.
• A strong understanding of construction, and more importantly, a willingness to learn.

Job Skills & Abilities:

• Technical Acumen: Demonstrated mastery in interpreting complex construction documents, including detailed drawings, specifications, and comprehensive contract terms (prime, subcontracts, and change orders). Your ability to dissect and understand these intricate details will be paramount to project accuracy and risk mitigation.
• Strategic Communication: Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate project complexities, negotiate effectively, and build consensus. You will be adept at fostering clear and productive interactions with internal teams, external subcontractors, and our valued clients, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the preconstruction phase.
• Decisive Problem-Solving: Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to proactively identify potential challenges and develop innovative solutions. Your capacity for making timely and informed decisions will be crucial in navigating on-site complexities and keeping projects on track.
• Project Leadership & Management: Proven expertise in prioritizing tasks, adeptly managing multiple preconstruction projects simultaneously, and consistently meeting stringent deadlines. You will inspire and guide your team, effectively delegate responsibilities, and cultivate a highly collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Industry Expertise: Possess a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of multifamily construction industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements. Your knowledge will ensure compliance, optimize processes, and contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality projects.
• Technology & Data Proficiency: Highly proficient in leveraging computer software, including the full Microsoft Office Suite and specialized industry-specific applications, for efficient project data management and streamlined communication. Extensive experience with Procore is a plus, ensuring seamless integration with our project management platforms.
