Principal BMS / Controls Engineer – City of London - £70 – 80k + Bonus + Package\n\nI am currently working in partnership with an International MEP Consultancy who are looking to appoint a Principal BMS / Controls Engineer into their expanding London City office.\n\nHaving opened their first office 15 years ago they now have offices located throughout the UK, Mainland Europe, UAE and Asia whilst employing 300 engineers. The plan for them is to continue their growth in these current offices whilst opening several other offices throughout America and Australia.\n\nProject wise the London office is involved in a lot of Data Centre and Commercial projects throughout the UK and Europe. On top of this they also work on projects within the High Rise, Leisure, Healthcare, Aviation and Retail sectors across the globe.\n\nAs a Principal BMS / Controls Engineer your duties will involve:\n\nDevelop a strong relationship with Clients and Fellow Professionals.\n\t\nAttend and contribute to Technical/Committee Meetings within organisation.\n\t\nContribute to the development of the BMS/Controls Group.\n\t\nContribute to the ongoing development of the BMS Standard Specification.\n\t\nAttend BMS/Controls Tender Interviews with prospective BMS Tenderers.\n\t\nReview and comment on BMS Contractors Technical Submittals\n\t\nAttend Off-Site Panel Inspections and BMS Software Verification Testing.\n\t\nAttend On-Site Witness-Testing of Commissioned BMS Systems and Controls\n\t\nWork with other BMS/Controls Engineers to identify and develop solutions for new Projects.\n\t\nWork with the Project Co-ordinator to deliver individual Projects.\n\t\nProvide Technical and Non-Technical Support to less experienced Engineers within the Group.\n\t\nAssist Project Director in ensuring all Additional Work is identified and additional fees claimed where appropriate.\n\t\nAble to take Concepts and Ideas through to implementation.\n\t\nProvide structured Technical Guidance on Projects for Staff in the Team.\n\nIf you are interested in discussing this position further, please contact Matt Jones on (phone number removed) or (url removed)
