Picture your day beginning with a quick scan of overnight batch runs, validating that process historians, ERP, LIMS, and Electronic Batch Systems are streaming clean, timely data into advanced analytics workflows. By mid-morning, you’re advising Data Analytics leadership on the best configuration patterns for a new product line, and by afternoon you’re reviewing latency metrics across LAN/WAN paths and regional edge servers to tune user experience for scientists at multiple sites.

What you'll do

• Own data management and software configuration for complex pharmaceutical batch analytics, ensuring fit, form, and function of data science platforms.
• Provide architectural configuration support across process historians, ERP, LIMS, and Electronic Batch Systems for initiatives of varying complexity.
• Partner closely with Data Analytics management, teams, and stakeholders to define goals and consistently deliver on them.
• Lead multiple projects simultaneously, operating independently to meet timelines and generating industry-standard reports suitable for internal compliance and regulatory submissions.
• Scout, evaluate, and implement commercial and open-source technologies that enhance data science usability across sites and programs.
• Periodically assess LAN, WAN, and edge infrastructure in regional data centers; analyze data transfer rates and summarize data flow latency to optimize experiences for data scientists and local users.
• Continuously improve agile software and data management practices that support both standard and advanced data science programs and product groups.
• Incorporate feedback from Global MSAT, strategic site stakeholders and leadership, IT governance bodies, and Global Engineering to refine program execution.
• Communicate data management requirements and capabilities clearly, connecting them to Advanced Analytics outcomes for global stakeholders at all levels.
• Stay ahead of the curve by interpreting primary literature, engaging with trade forums and user communities, and adapting emerging technologies to strengthen Data Analytics Product Groups.
