⚡ Electrical Building Services | Energy Centres | Modular Plantrooms
Power the next of low-carbon infrastructure
This is a brilliant opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer who wants more than standard building services work.
You’ll be joining a specialist offsite MEP and low-carbon building services business delivering complex decarbonisation, energy centre, modular plantroom and commercial MEP projects.
The role sits at the heart of multidisciplinary design, linking electrical strategy with mechanical systems, BMS, controls, plantrooms, heat pumps, DNO upgrades and offsite fabrication.
What you’ll be working on
⚡ LV power distribution and plantroom electrical infrastructure
Controls, BMS interfaces and panel integration
Circuit design, cable sizing, protection, containment, earthing and bonding
Energy centres, packaged plantrooms and low-carbon heat projects
BIM coordination, offsite manufacture and installation-ready design
Public and private sector schemes across commercial estates, healthcare, education, data centres and decarbonisation projects
What we’re looking for
You’ll likely be a Principal Electrical Design Engineer or a strong Senior Electrical Design Engineer ready to step into a more strategic technical role.
You’ll bring:
✅ Strong electrical building services design experience
✅ LV distribution, load calculations, cable sizing and protection knowledge
✅ Experience with controls, BMS, panels and plantroom interfaces
✅ Understanding of DNO upgrades, compliance and electrical regulations
✅ Confidence coordinating with mechanical, BIM, manufacturing and site teams
✅ Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead electrical technical quality
Why this role stands out
This is not just drawing, reviewing and issuing.
You’ll be designing electrical systems that support real-world low-carbon infrastructure, modular MEP delivery and complex plantroom environments.
You’ll work closely with mechanical, BIM, manufacturing and project teams, making sure designs are not just compliant, but buildable, coordinated and ready for delivery.
If you want an electrical design role with real technical ownership and visible impact, this could be a great next move.
