Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical engineering teams on technically complex data centre projects.
  • Provide technical, design, and contract management expertise across all project stages.
  • Act as principal engineer, liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and financial performance.
  • Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Identify business opportunities and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards it; membership of CIBSE, IET, or similar.
  • Experienced at Principal Engineer level, leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge in data centre electrical systems, with hands-on project experience desirable.
  • Skilled in managing complex projects and client relationships.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Results-oriented, with strong problem-solving and coordination capabilities.
