This role requires deep expertise in hardware systems, strong cross-functional leadership, and the ability to drive end-to-end product realization from concept through mass production.

You will own the full lifecycle of IT cooling solution product development, driving execution across mechanical, thermal, firmware, and manufacturing teams. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, and business strategy, ensuring the delivery of scalable, reliable, and cost-effective liquid cooling solutions.

This position also includes customer-facing responsibilities, working directly with high-tech customers to align technical requirements, support solution development, and assist with deployment in data center environments.

Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end development of IT cooling solutions from concept, architecture, prototyping, EVT/DVT/PVT, through mass production
  • Build and manage program schedules, milestones, and resource plans across multiple projects
  • Ensure on-time delivery while balancing performance, cost, quality, and manufacturability

Technical & System-Level Oversight

  • Collaborate with engineering teams on system architecture, including fluid systems, pumps, heat exchangers, sensors, and control systems
  • Evaluate technical trade-offs across thermal performance, reliability, cost, and scalability
  • Identify and resolve system integration challenges across mechanical, thermal, and control subsystems

Customer-Facing & External Engagement

  • Interface directly with high-tech customers to understand technical requirements and align system architecture
  • Support customer design reviews, technical discussions, and solution proposals
  • Provide program updates and communicate technical progress to external stakeholders
  • Travel to customer sites and data centers to support system deployment, troubleshooting, and issue resolution

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Drive alignment across mechanical, thermal, firmware, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams
  • Serve as the primary interface between engineering and non-technical stakeholders (product, operations, finance, leadership)

  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for system-level issues (leaks, flow instability, thermal inefficiency, component failures)
  • Lead rapid issue resolution to maintain program timelines

Budget & Strategic Alignment

  • Develop and manage program budgets, cost forecasting, and product cost optimization
  • Align program execution with company strategy, especially in AI infrastructure and liquid cooling adoption
  • Provide regular updates and recommendations to executive leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, hardware engineering, or system integration
  • Strong background in complex hardware systems, thermal systems, or electromechanical products
  • Proven experience leading NPI programs from concept through mass production
  • Deep understanding of cross-functional development (mechanical, thermal, and manufacturing)
  • Experience working with global suppliers and partners (OEM / ODM / EMS)
  • Fluent in Mandarin is A plus
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work in customer-facing environments

Qualifications

  • Experience with liquid cooling systems, IT cooling solutions, or data center infrastructure
  • Familiarity with pumps, heat exchangers, fluid control systems, and thermal management
