Overview:

Our client is a leading global investment platform with over $400 billion in assets under management and a long-established presence in European infrastructure. The London infrastructure team has committed more than $20 billion across 35+ transactions over the past decade, building a portfolio spanning energy transition, digital infrastructure, transportation, and essential services. Typical equity ticket sizes range from €500 million to multi-billion commitments, with flexibility to participate in both large-scale platforms and select mid-market growth opportunities.

The firm’s infrastructure strategy is backed by one of the largest dedicated global funds in the asset class, exceeding $15 billion in its latest vintage. The London team plays a central role in identifying, executing, and managing investments that support Europe’s transition toward decarbonisation, digitalisation, and resilient transport networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal sourcing and evaluation: support origination and assessment of European infrastructure opportunities, focusing on energy transition, transport, digital networks, and utilities
  • Due diligence and execution: develop financial models, perform valuations, lead market and regulatory analysis, and contribute to negotiations and structuring
  • Portfolio management: drive value creation initiatives across multi-billion platforms, including operational efficiency, bolt-on M&A, and ESG implementation
  • Research and strategy: track sector trends, regulatory shifts, and capital flows to strengthen positioning as a leading global infrastructure investor

Candidate Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in top-tier investment banking, private equity, infrastructure funds, , with direct exposure to infrastructure or energy sectors
  • Fluency in English and at least two other major European (e.g. French, German, Spanish, or Italian)
  • Advanced technical skills in financial modelling, valuation, and transaction execution
  • Solid understanding of European infrastructure markets, particularly power, transport, and digitalisation
  • Strong commercial judgement, detail , and collaborative mindset
  • International outlook and ability to operate within a global platform
