JOB TITLE – PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST (IS AND MAKRETING)

Job Summary:
We are currently representing a fantastic opportunity on behalf of a well-established UK manufacturer based at their site in East Yorkshire, who are expanding their procurement team to support continued business growth.
They are now seeking a Procurement Specialist with a focus on Information Systems and Marketing spend. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge of IT systems, software licensing and digital infrastructure procurement, alongside experience managing marketing-related services and campaigns.
Main Duties:
* Support procurement activities across IS and Marketing categories, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and business needs.
* Collaborate with IT and digital teams to source hardware, software, cloud services and infrastructure solutions.
* Assist in the procurement of marketing services including creative agencies, digital platforms, and media buying
* Evaluate supplier proposals and ensure technical compatibility with internal systems.
* Manage RFQs, supplier onboarding and contract renewals for IS and marketing spend.
* Liaise with legal and procurement colleagues to ensure contracts are fit for purpose and risk-managed.
* Maintain supplier relationships and monitor performance against service levels.
* Provide procurement support for system upgrades, licensing renewals, and marketing campaigns.
* Ensure procurement activity supports operational continuity and cost-effectiveness.
Person Specification:
* Strong technical understanding of IT systems, software licensing and infrastructure procurement
* Experience managing marketing spend and working with creative or digital suppliers
* Solid grasp of contract law and commercial agreements
* Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills, especially across IT and marketing teams
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in resolving procurement challenges
* CIPS qualified or working towards (desirable)
