MAIN FUNCTION:

Product Marketing resource and key stakeholder for Networking and Data Center products defining use cases, examples, and tools to craft and convey the product value proposition and position to a variety of audiences, ranging from the technically savvy to executives. Work in partnership with Internal Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Procurement and Planning departments, as well as with customers as necessary to take products to market and help drive the overall marketing strategy. Primary point of contact between PNY and NVIDIA Networking and Data Center business units for technical marketing regarding Networking/Data Center products and services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or management, or equivalent
  • 7+ years relevant experience in marketing or product management, specifically within networking and data center solutions
  • Experience with the development of hardware products, and ability to efficiently manage and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks and projects.
  • Specialized knowledge of high-performance computing (HPC), and experience with AI/ML workloads, and knowledge of deploying Networking solutions.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, including ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, MS Word and Excel
  • Ability and willingness to travel about 10%

Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Engineering, Quality Control, Operations and External partners (Customers/Partners, NVIDIA)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain a deep technical and working knowledge of Networking and Data Center hardware and software products, and how to market and incent sales to sell
  • Own Data Center and Networking product roadmaps and overall product vision from product concept, part setup, sales collateral, sustaining, and EOL timing. (working with Engineering dept and suppliers)
  • Identify value proposition and positioning, tying to vertical markets and overall launch plan/marketing strategy to communicate the features and benefits of Networking and Data Center related products.
  • Work synergistically with the Marketing and Content Teams to promote selling the entire PNY portfolio of Networking and Data Center products.
  • Set up new products, including Part Number creation, Bill of Materials (BOMs), etc.
  • Partner with internal Purchasing and Operations Teams to optimize product availability and shorten delivery lead times
  • Manage product lifecycles and communicate status to PNY personnel and customers, as required
  • Work with Marketing to develop programs, campaigns, incentives, etc. to build awareness around these products
  • Develop content for webinars, reseller, and internal sales trainings, as well as participate in recordings and live Q&A’s
  • Facilitate internal and external trainings as needed
  • Ongoing competitor analysis, understanding market demands, and staying relevant on market research
  • Provide content for websites, including product landing pages, architecture landing pages, datasheets, solutions spotlights, use case examples, etc.
  • Write product information and content for marketing to create whitepapers, video scripts, solutions guides, etc. in conjunction with other PNY and NVIDIA staff.
  • Oversee product change notices, engineering change orders, and special product requests. Manage price changes, revisions, and inventory forecasting.
  • Speak at industry events as necessary (e.g. Corporate or Distribution events)
  • Ability to work across geographic regions
  • Willingness to travel to key industry events (~10%)

COMPENSATION:

The base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.
