Summary

The Ash Group is hiring a Product Owner for our client, one of the largest private credit providers in the US agricultural economy. This is a 6-month Hybrid contract role based in Greenwood Village, CO, offering a pay rate of $65.00 per hour.

You will drive the evolution of a digital ecosystem by unpacking legacy data and reporting systems and transitioning them to a modern cloud architecture. This role requires a technical professional who is highly comfortable with complex data sets, cloud- thinking, and Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies.

Role Details

• Compensation: $65.00 per hour.
• Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and direct primary care benefits. After six months of employment, enjoy a 4% matched 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting.
• Duration: 6-month contract (Possibility for extension or conversion).
• Location: Hybrid in Greenwood Village, CO.
• Environment: SAFe Agile framework using Azure DevOps, Aha!, and MS Teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the transition of legacy data and reporting systems to a modern cloud architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide modernization efforts.
• Translate complex business needs into actionable user stories, emphasizing data-driven decision-making and clear technical requirements for engineering teams.
• Collaborate with data engineering and architecture teams to ensure data pipelines, governance, and reporting capabilities are seamlessly embedded into product design.
• Manage the product backlog and roadmap, utilizing SAFe practices to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery across cross-functional teams.
• Oversee data ingestion and transformation projects, ensuring the quality and compliance of data sourced from legacy systems and external partners.
• Partner with governance teams to embed metadata, lineage, and access controls into the data product lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to data quality, cloud scalability, and system interoperability.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 3+ years as a Product Owner or Technical Business Analyst in an enterprise environment (Financial Services experience is required).
• Technical Mastery: Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, or R, and familiarity with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Quicksight).
• Cloud Knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and cloud- product development/migration strategies.
• Methodology: Strong understanding of SAFe Agile practices and working in scaled Agile environments.
