Position Overview

The Production Control Supervisor is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules, coordinating materials and resources, and driving efficiency across the manufacturing floor. This role works closely with procurement, inventory, engineering, and production teams to keep projects on track and ensure quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan & Schedule: Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer demand.

• Coordinate Resources: Partner with procurement and inventory teams to ensure material availability.

• Optimize Workflow: Monitor production progress, resolve bottlenecks, and adjust schedules as needed.

• Track Performance: Report on productivity, on-time delivery, and inventory metrics.

• Lead a Team: Supervise, train, and mentor production control staff to achieve efficiency and quality goals.

• Ensure Compliance: Maintain safety standards and collaborate with quality control to meet industry regulations.

• Drive Improvement: Analyze processes and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

What You Bring to the Table

• 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations (electrical control panel experience ).

• Strong leadership skills with proven supervisory experience.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning software.

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving production environment.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles ().

Qualifications

• CPIM or Lean Six Sigma certification.

• Experience in electrical control panel manufacturing.

• Background in continuous improvement initiatives.
