Job Title: Program Coordinator – High-Speed Cable & Connector Development

Position Summary

The Program Coordinator provides tactical, day-to-day support to Program Managers, enabling them to focus on customer engagement, program-level decisions, and strategic execution. This role owns the coordination, documentation, tracking, and follow-up activities required to keep programs running smoothly across multiple projects and regions.

The Program Coordinator works closely with Program Managers, Project Managers, engineering teams, and China-based execution teams to ensure schedules are current, phase-gate tasks are completed, risks are visible, and program data is accurate and timely.

Key Responsibilities

Program Execution Support

  • Support Program Managers by maintaining program schedules, milestone trackers, and deliverables across multiple projects.
  • Track action items from program reviews, customer prep meetings, and internal PMO cadences; ensure closure and escalation as needed.
  • Assist with coordination of cross-functional activities (engineering, quality, operations, sourcing).

Phase-Gate & Documentation Management

  • Track completion of phase-gate requirements (design reviews, validation readiness, build documentation).
  • Ensure required documentation is collected, organized, and available to Program Management prior to program reviews.
  • Follow-up with Project Managers and functional teams to close documentation gaps.

Schedule & Status Maintenance

  • Update program schedules at least weekly (and more frequently for active programs) to reflect latest project inputs.
  • Maintain consolidated program status dashboards, highlighting risks, dependencies, and upcoming milestones.
  • Flag schedule slips or data gaps to Program Managers for escalation.

Cross-Regional Coordination

  • Assist in coordinating information flow between North America Program Managers and China-based Project Managers / Coordinators.
  • Help ensure design updates, build results, and validation outcomes are visible at the program level.

PMO Operations & Process Support

  • Maintain PMO calendars (holidays, PTO, business travel) to support coverage and planning.
  • Support standard PMO processes, templates, and reporting cadence.
  • Assist with onboarding and process training for new PMO team members.
